Viessmann Vitodens Combi Boiler Installation

The Brief

The customer's existing Baxi combi boiler had become unreliable, with a blocked heat exchanger that was beyond economical repair. They wanted a straight replacement with a modern, high-efficiency boiler that would give them dependable heating and hot water and a long manufacturer's warranty for peace of mind.

What We Did

• Removed the old Baxi: gas and water safely isolated, the old unit taken out cleanly and the area left ready for the new install.
• Fitted a new Viessmann Vitodens combi: a high-efficiency condensing boiler chosen to suit the property, backed by a 12-year manufacturer's warranty.
• Added a magnetic system filter: catches sludge and metallic debris before it reaches the new boiler, protecting the heat exchanger for the long term.
• Fitted scale protection: reduces limescale build-up on the domestic hot water side, keeping efficiency high in hard-water areas.
• Full chemical flush: cleared old debris and sludge out of the whole system before the new boiler was connected up.
• Commissioning and handover: filled, pressurised, combustion tested and commissioned to Viessmann's specification. Warranty registered so the customer was covered from day one.

Lower running costs, improved heating performance, and complete peace of mind. A modern boiler with a 12-year warranty, protected by a magnetic filter and scale protection, and a system that's been thoroughly flushed and commissioned to run at its best.
